Fun and Prizes with the Mommy Nearest Summer Challenge

Today, a fun and competitive challenge launches for moms everywhere!  As you may remember, I have been working with the gang at Mommy Nearest, a free mobile app that helps parents find child-friendly resources on-the-go.  By adding places to the app, reviewing them as well as writing tailor made blog posts highlighting certain establishments, I (and my compatriot Expert Moms) continue to work on making sure you are covered when out and about using the app.  🙂

Starting today, you can play along too and even get rewarded for the things that you do on the app — like adding a favorite kid-friendly restaurant or rating other places.  The top competitors will receive some amazing prizes.

The top individual prize is $1,000 cash!  Some of the other cool prizes include iPad minis, free kids classes at Gymboree and Wee Ones Club, free babysitting services by Urban Sitter, etc.

Mommy Nearest is also giving $5,000 to the Mom Group that earns the most points as a team. So if you’re a member of a local parenting group, share this post and get involved.

If you’re not using Mommy Nearest yet, head on over (via the Summer Challenge link above) and download it for free.  The places listed on the app are rated and reviewed by other moms, including me.   I have found this app to be particularly helpful on day trips and to find new restaurants to try.  I know you’ll enjoy it too.
