Introducing the New Hip & Healthy Kids Website!

New look…same great information!

Welcome to the newly designed Hip & Healthy Kids website!

If you’re used to seeing this screen…no worries, you are still in the right place.

Old Website LookI’m so excited to finally reveal the new and improved site that I have been working so hard to pull together.  For a while now, I’ve had creative ideas of what I wanted this page to look like, feel, and do.  I’ve learned by teaching myself html and css code to make some stylish and functional changes in order to present you with quality information in a fun hip way.   Let me take you on a little tour (but hopefully everything’s laid out in a way that is user-friendly to you to explore).

Social media icons are on top and if you are not following already, head on over to see all the great stuff going on at the Hip & Healthy Kids Facebook and Twitter pages.

On the home page you’ll see the most recent articles fading across the featured slider above.  You can also find these posts (and more) as you scroll down the home page.  Looking for an older post?  Feel free to use the search box, explore the “categories” dropdown or the “archives” which are sorted by month/year.

Thank you to my current subscribers and welcome to my new ones!  To stay up-to-date with the posts you see here, subscribing is easy.  In the right hand bar, there is a section entitled “Sign up for HHK Updates”   All that is required is a name and email address and then you are looped in the know.  (Promise no spam, just quality content!)

Want to learn a little more about me?  You can click on the picture of me in the right side bar or simply select “About Me” from the top menu bar.  You can also familiarize yourself with what this site is all about by checking out the “Mission”.  As I drop valuable tips in each of my articles, I also update the page called “Hip Tips”.  This page is a quick reference guide of complied tips that will make your life a little easier.  For example, Did you know that sunscreen not only blocks UV rays, but also hinders your body’s ability to generate vitamin D from sun exposure?  Dedicate some time out in the sun (sans screen) so you can capitalize on this natural vitamin power.

Featured Editorials Featured ImageI’ve written some cool articles for other sites and a selection can be found under the “Featured Editorials” page.  Did you know I was on the Katie Couric Show and wrote an article for her entitled “Natural Alternatives to Prescription Drugs”?  Head on over to the Featured Editorials page to see what Hip & Healthy happenings are hitting around the web.

If you want one-on-one attention and/or would generally like support or guidance on your journey to achieving your health goals, I’m here to help.  As a Certified Health Counselor, I listen to your needs and develop a customized program to set you up for lifelong success.  It’s all about striking a balance and having a knowledgeable expert to help you navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice.  Each individual’s needs are different and not one option works for all, so personalized programs and support are a tremendous asset.  Check it all out at the “Personalized Health Programs” tab.

Last, but not least, let’s shop!  As you may know, I seek out amazing hip, healthy and eco-friendly products.  I’ve made it easy to one-stop-shop by providing the ability to purchase these amazing goods right from the “Shop” page above.  Choose from Toys, Supplements, Beauty and Bath, Home Necessities, Kids’ Gear, etc.  This fully integrated storefront is SSL and Paypal secure, so know that all of your transactions are safe.  I’ve also integrated some of my favorite brands/items on the home page right side bar.  These affiliate links will lead you to great manufacturers like Earth Mama Angel Baby, Pong and more.

Shop at Hip and Healthy KidsThank you for continuing on this journey with me.  I have so much confidence in you and your dedication to making the best future for your family.  Together we can do so much.

Together we Make Change
